FOR PRINT AND DIGITAL ADS
The advertising pieces pay tribute to Berlanga.
His films are recognised for their visual language, which captures the essence of the characters and situations — often with a touch of the grotesque. This explains the use of straightforward illustrations that allude to iconic scenes from his filmography.

To communicate the rules of the competition and to facilitate registration and voting
The campaign included print, digital and social media, and was split into two parts: one to encourage entries to the competition and the other to encourage users to vote for their favourite shorts
The digital campaign was launched with formats such as 300×600, 1200×250, 1200×80, 320×100, etc. on lasprovincias.es and apuntmedia.es and its social networks.
In its four editions, the competition has brought together a large number of young lovers of cinema in its shortest form, and paid tribute to the universally renowned Valencian filmmaker, Luis García Berlanga.
The competing works’ plots contain absurd ideas, yet are brimming with sensitivity and social criticism.
Awards ceremonies have always been held in theatres, in gala settings, to showcase submitted works and motivate future directors.
A flat illustration for a director who captured the essence, the basics
The campaign illustration is based on an image of the Valencian director looking out of a window. It is as if he is reviewing the shorts submitted to the competition and smiling complacently.
